Trip to the Dentist Saves Child’s Life

Routine Visits are Still Important!
The importance of taking your children to the dentist can never be overstated. An eleven year old girl named Journee was the last of four children to sit in the dentist’s chair and her dentist recognized some signs in the girl’s eyes that led her dentist to strongly recommend to her mother to seek medical attention. As it turned out, she was found to have a grapefruit-sized tumor on her pancreas. The dentist spotted this from the color of the girl’s eyes and this is one of the lessor known benefits of going to your dentist and hygienist can do. Too many medical issues can occur when your teeth are not properly taken care of and can lead to a number of medical problems. Untreated cavities and rotten teeth can allow deadly bacteria to spread to other parts of the body.
