If you have a dental crown you know how fragile they can be. You may be scared that one could break or fall off if you aren’t careful. This is possible and if it happens you need to have the crown replaced. Dr. Marianna Farber says there are plenty of ways to avoid having your crown replaced and easily protect them so they  last longer.

Regular brushing, flossing and care helps a lot as well as avoiding certain foods. She advises patients to see a dentist as soon as they feel or notice  a change in how their crown fits or feels or if they experience any pain. Sometimes crowns can be repaired instead of replaced.
