A winter storm is expected to his the Grand Rapids area on Monday and official are warning residents that they should prepare for it. There may be electricity loss and many roads may be closed. Residents should stock up on groceries and supplies, check on pets and make sure elderly people have plenty of blankets, supplies and a cell phone for emergencies.
