The Lake Michigan shoreline could be soon expanding near Petoskey Stone. The popular hunting spot will be the site of the expansion that will include an additional 6.3 acres.  A $205,000 federal grant will fund the new expansion.

“We are pleased, through this collaboration, to be able to fund an addition to the iconic Petoskey State Park and the spectacular Lake Michigan shoreline,” said Ron Olson, Michigan Department of Natural Resources parks & recreation chief.
