Grand Rapids TMJ Symptoms
Serving Patients From Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, And Surrounding Areas
I initially contacted Dr. Mulder's office hoping to find any solution to the constant head and neck pain that I suffered from on a daily basis. I had suspected my pain was caused by a TMJ disorder, but was hesitant to seek help due to my skepticism that a simple jaw problem could affect my life so drastically. Upon entering the office for my first appointment I received immediate personal attention from members of the dental team and Dr. Mulder. After examining my jaw and discussing the symptoms that I was having, Dr. Mulder told me that I did in fact have TMJ and assured me that I was not alone in my struggle. We then discussed a subsequent treatment plan. After my first appointment I left feeling hopeful about my situation for the first time.
The plan of treatment that Dr. Mulder suggested was to have a custom orthotic made. I was unsure if a simple orthotic would be able to fix my problems but I trusted Dr. Mulder. After two appointments of muscle readings and about a week wait my orthotic arrived, and almost immediately I was pain free. It was that easy! Throughout the entire process every team member was beyond helpful and always went the extra mile to help. Today I life virtually pain free due to the treatment I received from Dr. Mulders Office. I cannot thank Dr. Mulder or his team members enough for the treatment that I received.
